Open Access

The promotion of widespread global access to research within the field of political sciences is prioritized through a comprehensive diamond Open Access (OA) model. It is ensured by JKES that all published articles are made freely accessible to all users globally immediately upon publication. By implementing this policy, the discoverability, readership, and citation potential of the research are maximized, thereby contributing to the broader scholarly ecosystem.

JKES is a diamond OA journal with no an Article Processing Charge (APC). All published articles are issued under a Creative Commons CC BY-NC 4.0. license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/deed.en). Under this framework, the copying, distribution, and adaptation of the material in any medium or format are permitted, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author and the journal and users do not have commercial purposes. This license is utilized to ensure the highest degree of engagement and reuse within the international academic community.

In accordance with ethical obligations and the chosen licensing model, unrestricted copyrights and publishing rights are retained by the authors. Control over the scholarly output is maintained by the researchers, while adherence to the journal’s licensing terms for publication is required. This balance ensures that the rights of the authors are protected while the principles of open science are fully upheld.
